Biography
I am Wanhui Li, a second-year Ph.D student in Rekimoto Lab at the University of Tokyo, advised by Prof. Jun Rekimoto. Before that, I obtained M.S. in Interdisciplinary Informatics from the University of Tokyo, and a B.A. in Computer Science from Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

My research interests are in Telepresence and Perception Sharing. During my M.S., I explored using the Hanger Reflex phenomenon to transfer the sensation of head rotation to others. In my Ph.D., I am extending this work by integrating head rotation with other non-verbal communication cues, such as eye-gaze, to enable more complex and practical intentions transmission between individuals.
